Planet Earth is what we all have in common

As a sizeable transport company, we are very aware of our footprint. Besides managing a relatively young fleet, CO2-emissions from the trucks have been decreased in the last years by an intensive and ongoing driver program to drive in an economically-friendly way.

In order to reach the sustainability goals, our group puts a lot of effort regarding the reduction of CO2-emissions generated from transportation and logistics activities. By taking a closer look at our logistics activities and rethinking current business processes, we were able to identify potential for savings and optimization, and thus make the best use of the resources we have available, saving costs (Lean) and reducing CO2-emissions (Green).

There are changes ahead

For the future, our goal is to join the club of companies within Europe, who have succeeded in reducing their CO2-emissions from transportation and logistics activities by more than 20% within 5 years.
Among the measures implemented are:

− Route planning reorganization and optimization
− Speed Limitation: 90 km/h to 85 km/h
− Implementation of a tire monitoring and pressure control system
− Use of highly efficient trucks, from the latest generation

Our collective and individual responsibility

Maximum attention is given to finding better ways to protect the environment through methods that pursue our business objectives, in a green way. We are continuously working to find ways in which we can make the situation better for people and for the environment as well. We propose and test ideas for reducing footprints with continuous improvement of operational performance and value for our customers.
